The Jason Mraz Live in Manila was truly a blessing! It had such perfect timing when I was also in Manila one day before our flight to South Korea.

I watched the concert with my college friends Henry and Marvin. Me and Henry arrived at the Araneta ahead so we had time to walk around Gateway Mall. After some time, Henry wanted coffee so we head to Figarro.
In the middle of the drink, Marvin came (late as usual). It was still very early to get in so we decided to have dinner. After attempts to some restaurants, we ended in Itallianis. We ordered Seafood Pasta and Four Cheese Pizza. Me and Henry had cold beer while Marvin wanted an alcohol free dinner so he went with Four Seasons.
As soon as we finished our Italian dinner, we went inside the venue to have good seats. The show was scheduled to start and at the same time, started by 20:00 with no front acts.
The coliseum was jam packed! There were even some upper box ticket holders that didn't get to sit and instead stood for the whole duration!

The crowd went wild as soon Jason Mraz and Toca Rivera went into the stage. Mr A-Z sported a yellow bandana, a shirt with the word PEACE on it, and pants. If you'll have a closer look, he wasn't wearing anything on his feet. He also had his facial hair grown which made Jason Mraz looked like a total hippie. Never mind his dirty look, his pure and awesome talent was what everyone came for!

I took some videos from my camera but blogger won't accept my files so here are some of the videos I got from the internet instead. These files are closer hehe.
You and I Both by gael0915
While Jason Mraz was singing, I can only think of one word to describe what I was feeling - HIGH!
Jason Mraz sung The Remedy as a medley after You and I Both. This would probably the best version I have ever heard. Jason Mraz unexpectedly mashed the song with the famous Wonderwall of Oasis. Everyone knew the song so the whole crowd sang with it. At that moment, everyone was in euphoria. (Video by manilaconcerts)

Life is Wonderful was the last song by Jason Mraz. I must admit that it was my first time to hear it but immediately, the lyrics and the melody went through my system and before I knew it, I was already singing it. (Video by kyroes)
When Jason Mraz ended the concert without singing the ever popular "I'm Yours," the crowd went loud and asked for more. The crowd didn't stop shouting. After several minutes, Jason Mraz came back into the stage and graced another set of songs.
This time, Jason Mraz generously sang what the crowd asked for - I'm Yours. As soon as everyone noticed the chords from his guitar, the whole Araneta Coliseum exploded! Of course, the crowd including me sang their hearts out with the one and only Jason Mraz!
We all know that Mr AZ can handle high notes very well. But in this version, I was at awe after hearing him nail a bass note. This just proved how versatile his voice is and my admiration just grew even more.
